Fall 2026 & Spring 2027 Season

Now Recruiting Dedicated U10, U11 & U12 Boys Players for a U11/U12 Team. Legacy Sports is building competitive boys soccer teams focused on player development, team growth, and creating a positive soccer environment both on and off the field.

U10: August 1, 2016 – July 31, 2017
U11: August 1, 2015 – July 31, 2016
U12: August 1, 2014 – July 31, 2015

Long-Term Vision

Legacy Sports is working toward entering the Carolina Champions League in Fall 2027. To join the Carolina Champions League, organizations are required to have at least 3 teams registered. We are actively building multiple age groups as part of that long-term goal. Our U11 Boys Team is already setup to participate in this hybrid travel format beginning this Fall, and we are excited to continue expanding our league.

Team Structure

We are looking to build a Rec + Travel Hybrid Team (A Team), and a Rec-Only Team (B Team).

A Team – Rec + Travel Hybrid Team

Competing in the Union County Recreation League
Participating in local and regional travel tournaments
Focus on competitive play and advanced player development
Tournaments will primarily be within 1–2 hours of the Weddington / Marvin area
Ideally, we will participate in two tournaments: one prior to the season and one at the end of the season

B Team – Recreation Team

Competing in the Union County Recreation League only
Focus on skill development, teamwork, and continued growth in the game
Great environment for players continuing to develop and build confidence

Volunteer Coach Opportunities

We are currently seeking an experienced volunteer coach for the B Team, preferably with a background in soccer.
