In the Legacy Sports Recreational PE Class, students will have fun participating in various grade appropriate activities including a mix of general PE activities, sports specific games & instruction, fitness, team competitions, and more. All classes are held outdoors on the athletic field at Southbrook Church. Coaches will also be discussing The Legacy Story throughout the semester.
- For Boys & Girls in Grades K-7th (older students can help out as volunteer assistant coaches at no charge)
- 9-Weeks per semesters (attend once or twice per week)
- Classes are held once/week for 60 minutes

Am I able to drop my student off and leave the facility or am I required to stay during the class?
You are free to drop off, leave, and return at pickup time. This is a perfect time to get some errands done or have a few minutes to yourself.
Since the class is outdoors, what happens if it rains?
We have one "built-in" rain day at the end of the semester but if we get cancelled more than once, we will either reschedule or extend the length of the remaining classes.
Are high school students able to participate?
All activities will be geared towards younger ages but high school students can participate as volunteer assistant coaches. They will be given the opportunity to develop leadership, planning, and communication skills.
