Flag Football Academy & Camp Information

The Legacy Sports Flag Football Academies & Camps are designed to help players learn to enhance basic football fundamentals (passing, catching, defensive positioning, handoffs, receiver routes, etc.) in a fun and relaxed atmosphere. Expect a mixture of beginners and experienced players along with plenty of scrimmage/game play. Our player development model includes coaches discussing The Legacy Story during each session.

Check the Registration Listing for upcoming academy and camp options.

LOCATION: New Town Elementary School (Outdoors)

What's the difference between Academies and Camps?
Academies run for 3-8 weeks with 1-2 sessions per week each lasting 75-90 minutes. Camps run 4 consecutive days (M/T/W/TH) with each session lasting 2-4 hours each. Both are designed to meet the description listed above with the main difference being the time frame.

Is the Flag Football Program for boys only or are girls allowed to participate?
Girls are welcome to participate but we expect mostly boys.

Coaching Staff

LEAD COACH: Steth Monroe
Steth Monroe, better known as Coach Roe, was a student-athlete at Campbell University who earned his Bachelor Degree in Science-Biology. Post graduation, he was blessed with the opportunity to continue his football career on a professional level playing for The Wyoming Cavalry, a professional indoor football team based in Casper, Wyoming. As this opportunity came to an end, Coach Roe decided to return to the community to give back where he was raised. Coach Roe’s Coaching/Training Career started with coaching the Cuthbertson 4th/5th grade Football Program. Over the years, Coach Roe formed a true passion for developing youth athletes within his community.
